ReplyDeleteThank you :) Finally in a language I understand fully :D Now I'm kind of sorry for Mustafa and happy that Fatmagul's forgiven him. Maybe she could even forgive Vural one day. He'd shown remorse, asked for forgiveness but never confessed to the police. He just run away in death. I feel that the culture of islam is just too distant to mine and for some reasons it's sometimes hard to watch this show for me. However, the moment Fatma forgave Mustafa made me feel more like 'at home'. I'm not trying to defend those horrible criminals, nor saying that they don't deserve their punishment, but i feel it's a way more like ym culture to show mercy and forgiveness than to curse, take revenge or desire somebody's death.
ReplyDeleteMercy and forgiveness are human not cultural my friend and the cultural part of the series has only to do with its origin country not with the experience that fatmagul had which anyone can understand any where in the world and Islam is beautiful - Really is - but it can't be helped if people choose to be evil and stick it to whatever they want as a sick and disgusting excuse.
DeleteI don't know if anybody will even read this but just in case someone did last week in Sinai Egypt Isis took credit for attacking a mosque during Aljumaa prayer and killed over 300 hundred Muslims in the name of Islam ! These innocent people were just like you and me and these cruel heartless extremists are just like any other extremists of any different race, religion or ideology.
And again mercy has no culture, it's a gift from god to humans in all cultures everywhere in the world and he made us this diverse only to learn and know from and about each other mercifully :D .

DeleteForgiveness has nothing to do culture or ones faith. A girl is being rape all the world it's not about being a Muslim. Fatmagul is about what every girl who has been rape gp through. It's also teaching them to speak out and not to be ashamed of it.
